Who knew the day would come that we would see an electric Harley Davidson.
Alright…it’s not a Harley, but, it is made here in the USA and it is indeed fully electric. Evolve Motorcycles has unleashed the newest and most appropriate mode of transportation in NYC yet (in my opinion). These new “hogs” come in three different models sure to fit one of your urban needs.
Pictured above is the Evolve Titanium, the top of their current line.
You can plug them in to a regular wall socket and in under three hours they are fully charged and ready to go. Depending on the model you choose you can go from 40 to 100 miles on a full charge and maximum speed from 40 to 70 mph. For the city dweller and the around the towner, this is a no brainer. I thing real soon we will be seeing our food delivery riders changing from their fossil fuel to electric hogs soon enough…..can’t be too soon for this guy.
This babies are built right here in our area, from I understand, in New Jersey. Servicing these bikes is super simple, they call it the “replace and go” feature. Apparently you can just pop a replacement part on and off very easily (gotta see this one for myself). Being in the motor vehicle repair business for many years, this innovative feature is a real inspiration. Imagine not having to spend 100’s of dollars on dealer labor because of the ease of replacing a part.
I hope to have an opportunity to see one of these for myself soon.
